CLUBS
Each marking period, St. Thomas offers the students an opportunity to join a variety of clubs. Here are some of our available after-school clubs:
 |
Sports Club -- Grades 3-8 play seasonal sports and games. |
|
Volleyball Club -- Grades 5-8 learn the rules and practice the game. |
|
Service Club -- Grades 6-8 complete school and community service projects. Relay for Life is one service project the students participate in every year. |
|
Sewing Club -- Grades 5-8 learn basic sewing and rotary cutting. Students take home a finished product by the end of the session. |
|
Newspaper Club -- Grades 3-8 produce a school newspaper. |
|
Chimes/Handbells Club -- Grades 3-8 learn tone chimes and handbells. Music reading is helpful, but not necessary. |
|
Computer Club -- Grades 3-8 work on fun projects using various software and utilize the Internet for other activities. |
|
Student Council -- Representatives of each grade gather to discuss school issues. Student Council hosts a series of dances for the upper grades. Officers are elected by a vote of the school enrollment. |
