Spanish Program

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

The purpose of the Spanish class is that at the end of the year the students recognize and translate basic vocabulary and commands in Spanish.  The students will also be able to follow simple commands in Spanish.  Topics the students will learn throughout the year are; colors, animals, parts of the body, opposites, numbers, days of the week and weather.  This is accomplished through songs and exercising.  During class, the students color material according to each topic while all class directions are given in Spanish.  They students play, dance and sing.  All materials will be sent home with the rest of their work, in the same folder.
